ReachOut Competition: Inspire a Generation

Inspire Ireland have launched a national film competition to promote positive attitudes to mental health and challenge current stereotypes around the issue.
They’re looking for you to create a short film or animation (90 – 180 seconds) which explores mental health related topics in a positive way, with an emphasis on how we can get through tough times.
Two stage competition
- Submit a brief on your proposed video, including a storyboard. Briefs will be reviewed by judging panel based on message interpretation, creativity and production plan.
- Ten successful submissions will be invited to produce their video project. These teams will then compete for the prizes outlined below.
Who can enter?
Individuals aged 18 – 30 who are resident in Ireland.
This competition is best suited to film or animation graduates with experience in developing short multi-media pieces for online use.
Prizes
Overall winner: €2,000 and an internship with leading Irish ad agency Cawley-Nea
Runner-up: €1,000
Second runner-up: €500

Shortlisted teams will be contacted by this date if they are into the next phase.

Closing date for film submission 1 September 2012.
